update
Am back....cats survived without me (but with a cat-checker person who came in a few times)....am very tired and have a ton of work to do. Hiked a thousand miles straight up a hill in one day with only half a bottle of water, but more on that later. (all great yosemite stories are exaggerated, don't you know).
